1. Who we are and scope
Hitbones provides “Maqas — Image Tools.” This policy explains data handled when you use its image tools and advertising. Contact: aqar@omaralgarni.com.
2. Your images
You voluntarily select images through Android's system photo picker. Maqas processes them on your device to resize, crop, compress, watermark, and rename them. Hitbones does not upload selected or exported images to a server and does not sell them. When you choose Share, Android sends files only to the app you select.
3. Storage and local data
Exports are saved in Pictures/Maqas. Export history, presets, language, theme, and recent editor settings are stored locally. Android may include preferences in your cloud device backup if backup is enabled; the developer does not receive that backup. You can clear history in Maqas and erase all app data in Android Settings or by uninstalling. Clearing history does not delete exported image files.
4. Advertising and Google AdMob
Maqas uses Google AdMob for app-open, banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. According to the Google Mobile Ads SDK disclosure, Google and its partners may collect and share IP address (which may estimate general location), app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers such as Advertising ID and App Set ID for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Google states this data is encrypted in transit using TLS.
Maqas uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request privacy choices where applicable and does not request ads until the consent status allows it. You can revisit choices from Settings when required. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google advertising data information.
5. Permissions
Internet access is used for advertising, consent and checking subscription ownership through Google Play. Maqas does not request GPS location, contacts, camera, microphone, or broad photo-library access.
6. Children
Maqas is intended for merchants and content creators and is not directed to children.
7. Retention and security
Local settings remain until you erase them or uninstall. Data handled by Google follows Google's retention practices. Reasonable data-minimization and security measures are used, but no transmission or storage method is completely secure.
8. International processing and changes
Google may process data outside Saudi Arabia under its legal frameworks. This policy may change when features, SDKs, or requirements change. We will update the date and publish the revision at the same URL.

10. Subscription and payments
Maqas offers an optional monthly subscription to remove ads. Google Play handles payment, renewal and cancellation; Maqas does not receive your card details. The app reads subscription ownership and the signed purchase receipt to verify access, and keeps a limited local cache for up to 24 hours of offline access. This cache is excluded from backup and device transfer. Purchase receipts are not sent to a developer-operated server. Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play; uninstalling the app does not cancel it.
